See you at Wine+Food!

We are looking forward to returning, and will see y’all from March 7th through the 10th, in the Culinary Village!

One of our Founders, Bradley Kohr, and some friends and employees will be there, along with some scratch waffle-cones, and a selection of our lovely ice creams.

Lemon coming again, soon!

We made some great lemon ice cream – as always, just a touch better than the batch before – and are looking forward to seeing it in our stores, soon!

Lots of fresh-squeezed lemon juice, some amazing milk and cream, some sugar, eggs, and love and cleverness, resulted in a decadent taste of sunshine.

Hopefully, y’all will enjoy it as much as we have!

Our Newest Location is now open!

A few months ago, we gave you afirst look at Republic Ice Cream. We were stoked to show you our delicious, creamy scoops of goodness that soon will be making their way to your neighborhood grocer.

But before our big premiere, we had to make sure we were dressed for the occasion. And now, we have put the finishing touches on our pints of Republic Ice Cream!

Like our own longstanding family tradition, our packaging is reminiscent of what we call ice cream’s “Golden Era.” Each flavor’s design has that special “classic” feel that doesn’t take away attention from the best part of the pint – the ice cream inside! We want our packaging to not only be something we’re proud of seeing on store shelves, but something you’re proud of pulling out in front of your friends and family to show off your great taste.

We have poured three generations of foodie passion into our pints,and can’t wait for them to be welcomed into your home. As you can see here, they will certainly be looking sharp!

Passion Done Right!

Let me tell you a little secret: It’s actually pretty easy to start an ice cream company.
But at Republic, we don’t always want to do things easily — we want to do them right.

Pretty much anyone can buy up a fleet of frozen yogurt makers and begin selling their concoctions to the world. You can even make deals with wholesale ingredient suppliers (things like fruit and nuts) to spruce up your ice cream without much trouble.

But that doesn’t mean it’ll be done right.

When our great-grandfather bought a small ice cream machine in 1917 and his frozen desserts became popular around his neighborhood, he still wasn’t satisfied. Instead, he rebuilt the entire machine and tinkered with the recipe until it was absolutely perfect. Surely enough, many ice cream lovers also noticed the extra effort, and a family tradition was born!

Three generations later, our passion for creamy perfection hasn’t let up.

Our ingredients are not simply ordered out of catalogs. We literally have searched the world to find the finest ingredients for Republic Ice Cream, like our Island Vanilla or Around-the-World Chocolate Chip. And it’s not just the ingredients that matter, but also how we use them — like our Butter Pecan, oven-roasted according to our own family recipe. Sure, it sounds like a lot of work – but it’s our passion, so we wouldn’t do it any other way.

Our family has shown us that ingredients and recipes really do matter. Ever since our great-grandfather overhauled the recipe (and even the machinery) to make his ideal ice cream, we’ve been taught that there is nothing wrong with chasing perfection. In the end, the customer will notice the difference between fine and the finest. That’s why we take that extra effort to make sure that you will be as passionate about Republic Ice Cream as we are.

We know it’s not easy, but it is the best!

We are thrilled to give you the first glimpse of Republic Ice Cream today!

Here at Republic, our passion is ice cream – something you’ll hear us say a lot. But we emphasize it because we mean it. In fact, we’re still putting the finishing touches on our pints of gourmet ice cream, just to make sure they’re absolutely perfect. A quick flip through our flavor lookbook will show you what we have in store, and we hope you’ll soon love tasting it as much as we love making it.

In a few short weeks, we’ll let you know where you can get Republic Ice Cream at a store near you. We are delighted to be a part of your neighborhood soon.
